An easy way to help out ur school.
Did you know that all the fun events at school are put on by the Student Council. These include the Opening Day Games, The Color Wars, Spirit Day, the recent Halloween Costume Contest, and probably many more new events to come. As any organization would agree, funding is a major part of anything that they do. The Student council is collecting boxtops, that go directly to helping the school. The class that collects the most will recieve an ice cream party from the Student Council. They are collecting until December 5th. You may be asking "What do i gotta do?" well simply cut them out and bring them to your first period teacher. Thats it!

Thanks for that info. I'll try to bring in some box tops to help out. I'll also encourage my classes to do the same.
Keep the posts coming. Once per week is not really enough to keep people excited about checking out what you have to say.
Having said that...great reminder. Perhaps you could "interview" Hannah Gardiner for a post about Student Council. Or maybe even interview Mrs. Johnson.
